How to Delete Your Data
You can request the deletion of your BabyInsight account and all associated data at any time. We provide multiple ways to do this, and we will process your request within 30 days.
Option 1: Delete from the App
The easiest way to delete your account is directly within the BabyInsight app:
- Open BabyInsight and go to Settings
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
- Confirm your decision in the dialog that appears
- Your account and all data will be permanently deleted
Option 2: Email Request
If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion via email, send a message to:
Please include the email address associated with your BabyInsight account. We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days.
What Data Is Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
- Your account information (email, profile data)
- All baby profiles and associated records
- Feeding, sleep, and growth tracking data
- Stool analysis records and AI-generated insights
- Vaccine and medicine tracking records
- Calendar events, notes, and fever logs
- Chat history with AI assistant
- Subscription and payment metadata (transaction IDs only; actual payment records are retained by Google Play or Apple as required by their policies)
Data Retention
Once deletion is processed, your data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered. We do not retain any personal data after deletion, except where required by law (e.g., financial transaction records for tax compliance, which are anonymized).
Third-Party Data
When your account is deleted, we also remove your data from our backend servers. However, please note:
- Firebase Authentication: Your authentication record is deleted from Firebase
- Google Play / Apple: Subscription and purchase records are managed by Google and Apple respectively. You may need to cancel active subscriptions separately through your device settings
- Crashlytics: Anonymous crash reports may be retained for debugging purposes but contain no personally identifiable information
